My allergies have been trying to kill me lately. I don’t go anywhere anymore without packing Benadryl, a few prednisone (just in case) and my [expired] EpiPen (also just in case). It sucks. I blame the guys at work; they make PB&J sandwiches on the counter! Yuck.
Andrea’s wedding is coming up in about 3 weeks (don’t tell her, she might freak out). It’s a whole weekend in a mansion and will be awesome, except that I know that her mom SUCKS at allergy awareness and may try to kill me all weekend. Fun times. My husband (still very fun to say), and her sister, Elizabeth, are going to be watching out for another friend and myself all weekend. Thankfully, there should be at least 5-10 physicians without shouting distance of me all weekend.
Work. Ah work. Getting paid again is lovely. The engineers (and 2 sales guys) that I’m working with are good people. I’m quite worried though that once I get this big “We’re changing out name and sending out a massive mailing” database sorted out, that I’ll not really have a whole lot to work on. Hopefully, the finance folks will be able to keep my busy a bit better once they’ve all relocated to Denver (from Houston).
You’ll be able to eat cake!! Discussed with the baker last night — we’ll be getting 3 completely different layers: white infused with frangelico and chocolate filling on the bottom, chocolate with raspberry filling in the middle, and white with apricot filling on top (for you! well, and also for others like you, haha). She’ll be very careful never to let the top layer touch the others. So you will be able to eat something :-)
mmmmmmm, cake!
Thank you, Andrea!
